I saw Lucario for the first time in the new Pokemon movie and I fell right in love with him. This was my first attempt at drawing him, and I have no idea how accurate the colors are.
ETA: I'm so happy so many folks liked the aura effects, but really...it's a radial blur with a lens flare on top. Nothing special.  |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. My tip for art and fiction writing
Always carry some way to write or sketch an idea, because you never know when you'll get a sudden inspiration.
However, those... er, what do you call them... grey thingies that lifts up when he uses the wave are a bit more rounded than you drew them. And the wave is a bluish colour.
Other than that this is a pretty darn cool pic.
